Kyrgyz State Medical Academy commenced in 1939 as a medical institute. Recently, the university had celebrated really 70th anniversary as it entered new decade of activity. Kyrgyz State Medical Academy is one of the leading medical academies among all medical universities in Kyrgyzstan.

The university is recognized by the government of Kyrgyz Republic, WHO as well as MCI. The academy loves it's prime location in the capital city of Kyrgyz Republic . The academy aims to apply most modern methods and advanced technology in teaching foreign students.

Kyrgyz State Medical university has it's hostels for accommodation of foreign students spread throughout metropolis. The students also get the possibility to practice in several hospitals of city to gain useful experience.

Admission Criteria

Comparing from India for admission in MBBS, it is a 4 years course, here in Kyrgyzstan it is of 6 years. Apart from this difference in duration the pattern is somewhat similar to Indian pattern. After completion applicant will be awarded a MBBS degree. He/She can also apply for an internship in Kyrgyzstan or India.

Students are required to submit their educational documents needed in academic formalities in university while admission procedure. Once a student receives the admission letter and gets visa confirmed, he is set to go for MBBS studies.

.An aspirant carrying a minimum of 50% marks in 12th Standard in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If the candidate belongs to any reserved category, then a score of 40% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology is doable. This is according to MCI guidelines.
